We found this research study about teens’ relationships with their parents and we thought it was very interesting.
This is why we think this resource is helpful: The study found that adolescents who have better communication with their family are more satisfied and tend to have less disagreements. Also, better communication was related to higher self-esteem in the teen.
Basically, communicating with your parents is good for your health! Or, to put it another way: discussing disagreements and coming to agreements might be good for further improving communication.
Creating strong connections can help you start and maintain a healthy relationship with your parents.
